Shouting out the anger and rhyming for a better world. With this intention, four Berlin musicians called out the crossover band NOISE FOR THE VOICELESS. It is supposed to be a musical statement of solidarity for all those whose voices are not heard. Powerful guitars, angry shouts mixed with head-banging hip-hop beats and political rhymes. They want to point out miseries and provide a battle cry for all who are enraged about racism, sexism and discrimination. Fists in the air. Eyes wide open. See you in the mosh pit.

Es soll eine musikalische Solidaritätsbekundung für diejenigen sein, deren Stimmen nicht gehört werden. Kraftvolle Gitarren, wütende Shouts gemischt mit groovigen Hip-Hop-Beats und politischem Sprechgesang. Mit ihren Songs wollen sie Missstände benennen und einen Schlachtruf für alle liefern, die wütend sind über Rassismus, Sexismus und Diskriminierung. Fäuste in die Luft. Augen auf. Und ab in den Moshpit.

With their songs they want to point out miseries and provide a battle cry for all who are angry about racism, sexism and discrimination. Shouter Anny has experienced a lot of that themself. „I'm non-binary, but I'm labeled as woman by society. I experience sexism followed by transphobic abuse towards my identity almost every day." Josh has also experienced discrimination. Not only because of his skin color, but also his Jewish faith. „I like the quote, 'If they don't give you a seat at the table, bring a folding chair' And my folding chair is rap."
As crossover as the lineup, so is the music. Powerful guitars, angry shouts mixed with head-banging hip-hop beats and political rhymes. The four Berlin musicians create their very own musical identity and unite the opposites of hardcore and hip hop in a very catchy way. A role model for the divided society?
The initiator of the band, Johannes, who grew up in the former GDR, motivates: „We all have a voice, some of us also have the privilege of being seen and heard, so let's use it for a movement - let's make noise together." That noise can soon be heard on the five track EP Color's Red and all profits will be donated to social organizations. Fists in the air. Eyes wide open. See you in the mosh pit.

Shouter Anny hat vieles davon selbst erlebt: „Ich bin non-binär, werde aber von der Gesellschaft als Frau gelesen. Ich erlebe fast jeden Tag Sexismus, gefolgt von transphoben Übergriffen gegenüber meiner Identität." Auch Josh hat Diskriminierung erfahren. Nicht nur wegen seiner Hautfarbe, sondern auch wegen seines jüdischen Glaubens. „Mir gefällt das Zitat: 'Wenn sie dir keinen Platz am Tisch geben, bring einen Klappstuhl mit', und mein Klappstuhl ist Rap."
So crossover wie die Besetzung ist auch die Musik. Kraftvolle Gitarren, wütende Shouts gemischt mit groovigen Hip-Hop-Beats und politischem Sprechgesang. Die vier Berliner Musiker:innen kreieren ihre ganz eigene musikalische Identität und vereinen die Gegensätze von Hardcore und Hip-Hop auf eine sehr eingängige Art und Weise. Ein Vorbild für die gespaltene Gesellschaft?
Johannes, der in der ehemaligen DDR aufgewachsene Initiator der Band motiviert: „Wir alle haben eine Stimme, einige von uns haben auch das Privileg, gesehen und gehört zu werden, also lasst uns das für eine Bewegung nutzen - let's make noise together." Dieser Noise ist demnächst auf der Fünf-Track-EP Color's Red zu hören, deren Gewinn vollständig an soziale Organisationen gespendet werden. Fäuste in die Luft. Augen auf. Und ab in den Moshpit.
